Report-Sale by Product ( for both Admin and vendor)

Similar to Sale by date, both admin and vendors are able to get a vivid analysis of the products being sold. Only difference being- the admin can check this for any products in the store, whereas the vendor can only search for the sale which is being sold exclusively in their store. 

Here’s an outlook of the report section ( of a vendor) for better understanding:

Here’s a briefing of the options available as shown in the screenshot above:

Time range : From here one can select the time span within which the report needs to be generated.

Product Search: The product search option allows one to enter the name of the product whose sales report has to be generated. One will have to select the product from the drop-down option needed.

Top Sellers: This section will enlist all the top selling products, clicking on which shows the sales figure  of the selected product for a span of time.

Top Freebies: Similar to top sellers option this section will enlist all the top freebie products as shown in the following screenshot:

Top Earners: Using this option one will get the list of top sold products, and check the sales report generated for a selected span of time.

Report- Sales by Date ( for both Admin and Vendor):

This will allow the vendors and admin to check the sales figure for a particular range of date such as Year, Month, week and even custom selected range of date.

Note that Sale by date option is available for admin and vendors, only difference being, the admin can see the entire sale of the store and vendors can see the sale of only their store.

Report-Capability

The admin can view the report of the entire store for all the vendors, on the contrary the vendors can only see the reports for their store. However, the ability to view the reports for the vendors depends upon the admin and the admin can set this from the settings here: Goto WCFM Admin Dashboard -> Capability ->Turn off View Report ( as shown below)

Translation using Loco-translate plugin

Step 1: Firstly, you will have to install loco translate plugin and install it in your multivendor site:

This plugin will showup an option in the settings panel of WordPress called “Loco translate”

Step 2: Under the Loco translate option Go-to “Plugin” option and you will see all the plugins installed in the site, among them you will also find WCFM Marketplace ( and it’s related addons) whose strings are to be translated. Here’s a visual grab for better understanding:

Step 3: Clicking on the respective WCFM plugin/addon will redirect you to language setup page like this-

You can either add your custom translation using “New language” link here:

Or you can also re-edit your translation by clicking on the existing languages like here:

Step 4: Adding a new language Or editing a language.

To add a new language ( as shown in step 3:) after you click on the “New language” option you will be prompted to select the language and choose the location of the translated .po file. Here’s a screen-grab for better understanding of the options provided:

Similarly, as stated above in Step 3 again, to edit a language you will need to click on “Edit” icon from the plugin translation page like here:

Step 5: After clicking on the “Edit” option or “Start translating option from the above step you will be redirected to an Editor section wherein you can select the strings and translate the same in your preferred language. The following screen-grab along with the steps which give better insights on the steps to be undertaken to translate the relevant strings.

As shown above, once the selected source text are translated, you can save the same to reflect the same in your site.

Note: Sometimes, new strings may not be found due to plugin updates, in that case it’s recommended that you click on the sync option as shown blow to get the latest strings-

Locotranslate- Overview

You can change the strings provided by WCFM easily and ensure that your marketplace’s frontend is in your local language. Localizing WCFM is very straightforward, all that is needed is a translation file for your language. You can create translations as has been outlined in the WordPress Codex, but the easiest possible way for doing this is by using Loco Translate plugin.

So, here we will discuss how you can translate your marketplace in your local language using Loco-translate plugin.

Country Shipping-Vendor settings

 Similar to Admin, the vendors can also configure the shipping rates related to country from their Dashboard here:

WCFM Vendor Dashboard -> Settings -> Shipping -> Select “Shipment by country”

Note that this option will only be available to the vendors if it’s enabled by Admin globally for the vendors.

Once Shipping by country option is selected, the vendors will be able to see the following options:

The above options will allow the vendors to set the shipping rates for specific countries and their correlated states.

Country Shipping-admin settings

Admin can enable the shipping by country option from the following section: WCFM Admin Dashboard -> Settings-> Shipping settings.  From here “Check” the enable button in Shipping by country settings and one can see the following options.

The “shipping by country” settings admin can set 4 different types of default cost.

Default Shipping Price: This will be the base shipping price of all the products of the vendor irrespective of countries and states.

Per Product Additional Price: This cost will we applied to every second type of product from the same vendor in the cart.

Per Qty Additional Price: This cost will be applied to every second quantity of the same product of the vendor which is present in the cart.

Free Shipping Minimum order amount: The amount entered here will be the benchmark above which the shipping will be free.

Shipping calculation:

The following options needs to be set for shipping calculation as required.

Ships from: The country from where the vendor ships products.

Shipping rates by country:

From the above section shown the Admin can set the shipping price for each country selecting the country name from each dropdown. The number of country selection box can be increased by clicking the plus sign in the bottom of the country selection box.

Shipping price for states of individual countries can also be entered by selecting the state names from State Shipping Rates box and entering the shipping cost of the respective states. The number of state selection box can also be increased per country by clicking the plus sign in the bottom of the state selection box.

When the customer adds the product of the vendor in the cart the shipping cost for the vendor will be calculated according to the shipping country selected by the customer as shown below:
